W.A. Hine & Son Ltd – The Principal Contractor – sought Health and Safety advice on a Project involving the Construction of a Church Annexe at Our Lady & St John, off Ferry Lane in Goring-on-Thames.
BRIEF
GH Safety (Ltd) was appointed to assist the Principal Contractor undertake their duties under CDM2015, creating a robust health and safety system for the site.
RISKS
There is a risk that without significant consideration of health and safety along with lack of project planning provides increased likelihood of an accident, major injury or damage to property during a Construction Project. All of which could lead to significant delays. Non-compliance to health and safety regulations also leaves the Company at risk of Prosecution in the event of a confirmed breach.
SOLUTIONS
Kevin asked Chris to attend site to jointly assess potential hazards and review project information to create a bespoke system for the Company to assist with set up and implementation of Health and Safety
